# CWS Family Trust (cws.family)

> cws.family is the home of the 2023 CWS Family Trust, named for Clyde W. Snyder (1933–2022). It tells
> Clyde's story, states the trust's mission and purpose, and describes the family portal where relatives will
> manage their accounts, opt in or out, plan together, vote in elections and co-author the trust's values and
> mission. Every portal feature carries a status: In build, Designed or Planned for 2028.

## The trust

- Headline: Named for Clyde. Built for family.
- Mission: The CWS Family Trust carries forward what Clyde W. Snyder valued most (family that stays close, time spent together and doing good for others) as the family’s long-term owner of what it builds.
- Owns for the long term: the family's patient, long-term owner of the businesses it builds.
- Backs builders: co-invests alongside entrepreneurs building real businesses.
- Teaches the family: family values, practical finances and planning ahead with qualified advisors.
- Stands with The Glemser Foundation: the trust's other pillar, guiding young professionals and entrepreneurs.
- Helps people find their way back: our family has seen the harm religious extremism and cults can do. Each year the trust considers funding for efforts that support former and current members of cults and high-control groups, and others in need.
- Makes time for family: beginning in 2028, helping fund the trips and gatherings Clyde loved.

## Clyde W. Snyder

- Clyde W. Snyder (April 7, 1933 – October 9, 2022) was an artist and teacher, taught art at Pinebrook Junior College in Coopersburg, Pennsylvania, and served as an elder of the Bible Fellowship Church for sixty years. He held his faith dear and loved his family and friends whoever they called their God. He loved fishing trips and family gatherings.
